the latest and greatest

It's been awhile since I bragged about listed Max's most recent accomplishments so how's about I update ya'll?

Don't worry. There will be pictures at the end.

Mind blowingly gorgeous, flag clad, patriotic baby pictures at the end.

At the ripe old age of 14 point 5 months, Max, when asked where Jesus is, will identify the nearest crucifix, religious image, etc. and spout out something like "Cheeezuu....s."
There's the little saint now.
As you can imagine, we use that one at all the parties.

And along the precious, Catholic lines, Max now lunges for every holy-water-looking font (pretty much anything that his hand can fit in and holds water: cups, toilets, bird baths, you get it) stuffs his entire arm in and brings it right to his forehead. I always swoon and in my highest mommy voice say, "IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER" and right then, he puts his hands together and thus cuts off the Son and Holy Spirit. The Trinity is a complex subject after all. One Person at a time.
unrelated, though cute picture from Father's Day
On to the the nitty gritty. Our dear boy is showing us just how much of a boy he can be. We discover new bumps, scrapes, and bruises daily. And because I promised someone I wouldn't put up the picture of our most memorable, and consequently first, bump I will share this PRESH picture with you.
And this one...
I. Am. Man.

Obviously I can't list all of Max's feats because you'd be reading for years so I'll leave you with pictures from our 4th of July parade.

Getting ready with Uncle Jude.
Beaming with pride for his country.

crrrreeepy Kelby and adorable Genevieve
How about Kelby's patriotic....yellow?
Joining the crowd, pulled by the horse (as Jude so referred to himself)
The matching set.
Gen was far too busy to smile for the camera.

And I may be away for a few days because my soul sista Abigail is getting married on Saturday! Pictures will be posted as soon as poss.

Hearts in the Heat,
Christine
