As you're probably thinking (or not because you're not obsessed with my son's monthly birthday), Max is over 18 months now. And your thinking is correct.
But I finally got him to the doctor for his big appointment. Said appointment consisted of questions like how's his running, does he try to undress, and are you POTTY TRAINING YET. Ummmmm I think he runs... I'm pretty sure he prefers lopsided hopping though. He tries to dress in my sweaters and he takes off his socks. And NIZ-O, on the potty training. We do make suggestions about using the potty and talk about how much fun it is going potty etc etc but am I really behind?! I'm going to go with a self-consoling, pacifier of a response and say absolutely not. There are kindergartners in diapers.
Anyway, the visit was fine after we got through that nonsense. Max is developmentally spot on and even impressed our doc with his first interrogative of "Whas this?" It was epic.
And now for the statistics that, I know, have been long awaited. That's why you read this blog, right? For the latest Max Fax?
oh my gosh.
That just came to me. I'll be using that forever now.
I should rename this post "Max Fax 1.5." Get it? 1.5 yrs.
Ok that's enough.
18 month CHECK UP low down
WEIGHT: 31.4 lbs - 94th percentile
HEIGHT: 34 in - 87th percentile
I'd like to thank a few people for that 94%. First of all, Tyson deserves much of the credit for their giant bags of chicken nuggets. Thank you, Tyson. Then the makers Kroger graham crackers and Target fruit snacks. And lastly, thank you to all the migrant workers who harvest the thousands of grapes, clementines, blueberries and strawberries that Max closes off his well-balanced meals with.

You make me laugh so much! Max is going to love reading this someday. Do NOT let the doctors tell you "you should be potty training", etc. It will happen all in due time. Jack was a little older than 2 when we STARTED and bam in like 1 month he was a pro. You will know when it's time. He's a healthy big boy!! He's so sweet and you're doing a fantastic job. PS: Tyson chicken nuggets are eaten by the bags in our family too. :)
ReplyDeletenever stop sharing! and your weight percentile shout-outs are hilarious!! love you!
