Saturday morning Uncle Jude came over to play with Max and help me with some Christmas stuff. Here is the conversation that ensued while I worked on some bows.
Jude (holding Max): You're the star of the show now buddy.
Me: (!!!)
Max: ba-ba-a-a-a-a
Jude: Ya. Cause you're a baby and you're cute.
Max: urrrgl
Me (trying not to cry): You're still a star in my world, Judey.
Jude: Ya but Max is cute.
Me: I think you're cute too!
Jude: Well I guess the two youngest get to be the stars.
Me: ::sigh of relief:: That's right!
On another day.
Jude: I guess John's the next one to get married.
Me: Is that so?
Jude: Ya. If he ever GETS married.
Apparently John doesn't realize he's behind.
