Little Red Riding Cake

I stole this birthday tradition from my dear friend Elizabeth P.
Every year for E's b-day I'd go over and have dinner and red velvet cake. I loved it so much that after awhile it became my birthday request. But it must be made by Mrs. P's recipe or it's just not right. Even though I'm all growed up now, my sweet mom still whipped one up for me.
