Despite recently singing an ironic song about "ugly duckling girls like me" being 17, my little, far from ugly, supermodel sister just celebrated her big 1-7 on Monday.
Wouldn't it have been PRESH if they had gone together?!
Anne's been my running partner for the past several months and I have been having so much fun getting closer with her. She has her head decently screwed on for a junior in high school and she has so many talents I can't even keep track of them all! I'm so blessed to have such a sweet, beautiful, smart, talented little sister.
When she was around 3 or 4 she announced to all who would listen that she was going to be a newscaster. Here was how her newscast always began.
"HEAR THIS! HEAR THIS! This is Anne Hickerson, LIVE!"
She would normally hold up a rectangular object to mime some type of TV. She had this precious scratchy voice, chubby and EVER pink cheeks, and the brightest blonde fountain of hair piled on top of her hair. She was such a fun little thing then... but a truly good friend now. Love you, Annie! Happy 17th Birthday!
