The Heat Has Broken!

Thanks be to God! The string of weeks in the 90's and 100's has finally broken. Saturday night a "cold front" came through and brought with it rain. But Saturday gave us another reason to celebrate, our friends Jeff and Angela were married at St. Joe's in Ost. The wedding was packed but lovely (they even memorized their vows!) and Max was generally well behaved through Mass. We ate, drank, and danced for hours at the reception and got to catch up with friends we don't get to see often. Congrats to Jeff and Angela Schawe!

Sunday we had John's "last supper". Uncle John's going back to school this week so my mom made his favorite dinner: fried chicken, mashed potatoes, cheesy broccoli, and cherry crisp. Mmmm. Max loved spending time with his aunts and uncles and I think he's gotten quite attached to his Uncle John in particular. We'll miss you, Johnny!

As you can see, Max is very "attached." (especially to John's hair)
