This is going to be a short post only because I have no pictures to fluff it up and a very tired husband to cater to. :)
However, I've got to post this ASAP or else I'll forget what date it was that......
MY BABY WALKED TO ME!
Granted I picked him up, plopped him 2 feet away from me and then begged and pleaded for him to walk a few steps, but I still think that counts.
His total so far is 8 solid steps and then one last second dive. It's so awesome to watch him moving forward like this! I can hardly stand it how much he's changing.
Last night we had a guy come over to "test our water." Well that turned into a 1 and a half hour shpeel about how and why we should buy this particular water system that will basically extend our lives 100 years. Max was very opinionated on the topic and hollered "DAAAAAA" and "MAAAAAA" several times with great passion. The poor guy would just talk a little louder and pause uncomfortably when he realized he'd have to yell in order to talk over Max.
And H no we did not decide to spend $6,690 on a water purifying system. As Kelby put it, that's the price of a solid high school/college car. So, just to warn you all, there's a chance that someone will call you and offer you free movie tickets or a smokeless in-home grill, or whatever just so they can quickly "test your water." Don't don't don't give in because, in my opinion, it's better not to know.
In summary,
Max = walkingish
Kelby and Christine = not spending a car to get yummy water
Oh and
Christine = giving up on pretending she can DIY anything. The cabinets are getting a professional makeover and not even Kelby will argue that decision.
And now I think I should go tend to my worn out hubby-boo.
Much love ya'll.
Have you ever thought about "Boeh Water Softeners"? I know they would give you a great deal!
ReplyDeleteWe fell for the water purifier thing when I was pregnant. :( And we're STILL paying on it.....good choice Umbehr's. Please pray for my sanity, as I lose an ounce of it, every time I pay that bill. :)
