first eastertide

TECHnically, this post isn't late because we're still celebrating Easter. Did you know the Easter season lasts 50 days? Would it be weird if I just now put out my outdoor Easter decorations?

Off topic...

Anyway, time for another parental post where I ooh and aah over my own child's beauty. Feel free to join in.
Look what the Easter bunny brought Max!
I realized as I was throwing all this together, after he had been awake, that there were no treats whatseoever. Ne'er fear though because graham crackers came to our rescue once again.

And what does he go for first?
The graham crackers of course.
He took one bite out of each of them and worked his way through them in that fashion.

Daddy's Easter present.

After a very delicious Easter lunch at Aunt Emmy's house.

Being stiff armed by a girl and taking it like a gentleman.

Nevermind the gentleman part...

After an intense battle, Max prevails and the little lady claps despite her loss.

Family.
My thought during photo session: How can I make my arm not look like my thigh attached itself to my shoulder?

A little yard work on Easter never hurt anyone.

HAVE A HAPPY EASTER season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. What is it with both my grandsons and their fascination with lawn mowers? Particularly weird since, due to allergies, I never had to (got to?) mow the lawn as a youth...my long-suffering Dad is probably looking down from heaven and rejoicing that Kelby and Jack will NOT have to mow the lawn themselves until retirement age!
