We spent Saturday and Sunday at Max's grandparents' house in Topeka to celebrate Thanksgiving. My M-I-L/Max's Grandma Barb is going to Padre Island (
suuuper jealous!) with her sister Carol and brother Pat for the holiday and to see Pat officiate some basketball games so we all got to celebrate a little early. It worked out great for us especially since we
don't can't hold back even when we have one feast after another. Our darling nephew Jackson and niece Brooklyn came down with their dad and mom, Jack and Lindsey, for all the festivities and everyone just l-o-v-e-d watching Jackson play with the basketball and trash can for hours. He is at an awesome interactive age! Brooklyn charmed us all with her smiles and overall sweet disposition. Have fun perusing the pictures of the big day.

Max got his first Christmas present -- a "Baby's First Christmas" ornament-- from his Great Aunt Carol.
Calm little girl, craaaazy hair!

Ah, toddler-hood, you are so easy to please.
Giving his Great-Aunt Carol some love.
