This weekend, we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving with our family in Topeka. It's been TOO long since we've seen Grandma Barb and Grandpa Bernie and basically Kelby's whole side of the familiy! This is why I loooove Thanksgiving and Christmas time. You get to spend hours and hours together basking in the happiness that is being surrounded by the people you love and who love you.
As I am now domesticized (does anyone else think that sounds like I've been hit by something radioactive?) I will be bringing something to contribute to the Thanksgiving feast. After volunteering to bring homemade rolls, I had a momentary panic attack. The one time I made rolls, they didn't rise! They tasted great but you had to have 3 before you felt like you'd eaten one. I've recovered now and as I wait for my dough to rise, I'm feeling much more confident than before. I was going to take pictures of the steps but the only picture I got was of me filling the mixing bowl with hot water to demonstrate how to warm your bowl. I won't bore you with that one.
I'll let you know how they turn out though. And since I'm one of those people who photographs their food (we have a beautiful relationship, food and I, Ok?) I'll share the finished product with you lovelies.
BE TEE DUBYA, I am d-y-i-n-g to see the new Harry Potter movie!!!!
