purposeful living

Let everything I do grow from this thought, "Because I love God, I will..."
Then there's no need for worry and no room for disappointment.

Some concecrated ladies from Regnum Christi came to Blessed Sacrament to give us an evening of reflection and offered spiritual direction to anyone interested. I wish that I could put into words how valuable that was to me. What I shared above is pretty much the only thing that I can properly explain but so much more was placed on my heart and I'm so grateful for that opportunity.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

And I'd like to wish my Grandma Karen (Max's Great-Grandma) a very happy 72nd birthday! We took Max up to Newton to have dinner and spend some time with the birthday girl. Her own mother (Vam Vam, who is 98) was there to celebrate with her! My mom remarked how she probably wouldn't see some of her children turn 72. At first I thought that was kind of a morbid thought and then realized that when Jude turns 72 she'd be 115! I'd say she's probably right.

Sorry about the random blog post but I'll get you something a bit more coherent tomorrow. Until then... I better put myself to sleep before Max wakes up!
