All together

A few weekends ago, all the Hickerson sibs + law brothers were in town. We had family pictures which we hadn't had in years (like 6!) minus our wedding last year and Mel and Nick's the year before. It was a gay affair with lots of cheesy poses and merriment all around. After the pictures, it was a mad dash to make it to every adolescent sporting event in Wichita on, what turned out to be, the hottest October day ever.

Oh and I almost forgot! We celebrated Dan Hickerson, of the Dan Hickerson Empire's, 51st brithday. Unlike last year's festivities, our celebration was a quiet evening of dinner at the homebase with Max's Great-Grandparents and Great-great Grandma (Vam Vam). And though I don't have any photos from this year, I would like to share some from last year.

Believe it or not, these are my Grandparents.

Dad's party was on Halloween so we invited our guests to come in costume.

*Another bit of proof of the fact that Jude is pampered and spoiled. At his age, we wore household items for costumes and didn't even dare ask for anything different. And they wonder why kids are soft these days.
