A family wedding on Kelby's side (Rick Dierks to Amber Campbell) took us northeast this weekend. We lodged at the Hotel Davison for our two nights which meant time with Aunt Mel and Uncle Nick which was delightful. Max made his debut with many of Kelby's relatives and I got to actually talk with a lot of the people who came to our wedding but to whom I could barely express a quick "thank you" before being rushed off to someone else. Having mommy brain, I didn't bring along the camera charger and so the pictures I have are few. I took these pictures from my sister-in-law Lindsey's facebook and so thanks Lindsey for your contribution and for taking up the slack during the many photographic moments of the weekend!
At the rehearsal dinner with Lindsey and Brooklyn.
Wedding pic with my handsome husband. I wish he had a job where he had to wear suits. He really does look good in them. But he has a great job so I'll just have to suck it up and enjoy these special occasions.
Thanks to Melanie, we got to go to the wedding sans Max and have a great time. Max is tons-o-fun, but it was nice to have a night out with adults for once. Thanks Mel!
Kid free night and LOTS of fun! As Lindsey says, we look like a girl scout troupe in this formation.
The wedding and reception were at this castle in Shawnee. It was really beautiful.
Ladies pic. This was during a break from our crazy dances moves.
Day after wedding with the grandparents and grandkids. We're a special group. I may have to remind Max that Brooklyn is his cousin.
Brooklyn (3 months) & Jackson (20 months)
Jackson was such a trooper during this particular photoshoot. Many a laughing tear was shed in the process of getting this picture.
Fist bump. Jackson's specialty. I loved getting to play with our nephew for such an unhurried amount of time!
Us kids with our kids. It's so great to have fun in-laws! We love the Becker family!

Next time you're in KC...call us for a play date!! :)
