feliz cumple-half-años

6 month statistics:
20 lbs 10 oz (92nd percentile)
28.5 inches (98th percentile)
He looks proud doesn't he?

Mmm. Butcher paper!

Not as good as it looks.

Gosh, that doctor sure is taking his time!

We had two more shots and one oral vaccine. As usual, Max wriggled and cried and I held his sweet baby hands and cooed in his ear to try and calm him. I find I am getting better at handling these things when I think back to the first pricks during which I cried along with my son. Praise the infant Jesus we don't have shots again until 12 months!

I'd like to take a moment real quick to say what every mother thinks incredulously at stages like this, "But I just brought you home from the hospital!" That's what went through my mind all day yesterday while watching my son play and laugh and desperately try to crawl. We were given the go ahead for baby food too! I can't handle all this change!

Keep it together, Christine!

OK. Sorry.

Max at 6 weeks

Only 4 months later. ::tear::

Interacting during story time.

Tell those sweet split peas they can bring it!

Whip lash from total nastiness.

  1. He is sooo sosososo CUTE!!! Yay for pictures of big boy Max!

    I sympathize with him about the split peas. My dad gave me pureed split pea soup after getting my wisdom teeth removed, and I threw it up. No parent should make their child eat such a thing, come on!! :)
