Don't skimp

Since I've become all price minded lately, (Thanks, Dave Ramsey.) I've been doing a lot of my grocery shopping at
Financially this a great place to grocery shop if you don't mind bringing your own bags, scavenging for empty boxes, a generally diverse shopping experience or keeping a quarter on hand for your cart. You can buy pretty much twice as much stuff as you would at Dillons for half the price.

HOWEVER, I've discovered that there are just some things you shouldn't skimp on. For this reason I've decided that I will share my lessons learned the hard way with you so you don't have to sort it all out alone.

DON'T SKIMP ON (aka, don't buy at Aldi):
- dishwasher detergent- a BIG no no according to my spoons and bowls
- meat, in general

SKIMP ON & LurrrVE!
- produce (if you're going to use it closetoimmediately)
- CHOCOLATE CHIPS or any baking chips
- BROWNIES- Baker's Corner is fabulO
- snack items of any kind (they have these delish yogurt coated raisins)
- frozen microwavable veggies
lots lots more

I imagine I'll be adding to that list in the future. That is if I ever go to the grocery store again.

It's been 16 days.

This is a mixture of laziness and a test to see how creative I can get with what meager items are left in my fridge and cabinets.
